It was our honor to host the first event of Slovakia Salesforce Developer User Group, which was held last Wednesday.
Mobile Applications
The number of people using devices such as mobiles, smartphones or tablets is significant and is continuing to grow at a tremendous rate. Therefore, the challenge for today’s companies is to realize the importance of making their web or native applications user-friendly and accessible on different mobile platforms. This will result in more customers and an increased revenue stream.
Bitlayer is helping companies get their business information onto mobile application platforms. Our experience is focused on two main areas in relation to mobile devices:
- Development of independent mobile applications
on Android platform, focusing on:
- web service layer (integration with the back-end system)
- various UI layouts customization for phone and tablet
- HTTP Live streaming
- integration of Android platform with a web portal via Java script interface
- application custom skinning
- Building a mobile version of a web page as a simple "one column" look which fits into different native resolutions of various mobile devices, accessible from different web browsers and ensuring maximum interaction.
By creating mobile-friendly web pages as well as developing mobile applications on the Android platform, Bitlayer assists companies in improving communication with their customers.
